Summary: Echo‑Lite is a suicide‑prevention support app designed for autistic kids ages 8 and up. We do not collect personal information, run ads, or use analytics SDKs. Notes/journals remain on the device.

This policy applies to the Echo‑Lite mobile app published by LCH‑Tech (Love, Compassion, Hope).

Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, photos, birthdates, precise location, device IDs, or other personal identifiers.
  • We do not use third‑party advertising or analytics SDKs.

User‑Generated Content (UGC)

Features like notes or journals are stored on your device only. We do not receive, host, or share this data. You can delete entries in‑app or by uninstalling Echo‑Lite.

Network Activity

Echo‑Lite may open crisis‑support resources (web pages, the phone dialer, or the SMS app) when you tap a support button. We do not see or retain those interactions. When visiting external sites, their privacy policies apply.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Echo‑Lite is designed for kids ages 8+. A parent/guardian should supervise use and provide consent where required by law. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will address it promptly.

Permissions

  • Internet — opens external help resources.
  • Notifications (local) — optional gentle reminders on the device (no remote push identifiers).
  • Echo‑Lite does not access camera, microphone, contacts, or photos.

Security

Echo‑Lite minimizes risk by keeping data on‑device and using encrypted connections (HTTPS) when opening web resources. Please secure your device with a passcode.

Retention & Deletion

  • All UGC remains on the device.
  • Delete entries in‑app or uninstall Echo‑Lite to remove app data from the device.
  • We do not keep server copies.

Changes

We may update this policy when features or laws change. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify in‑app.
